Default RR Racing Tune

Has anyone who has used the RR Racing tune, had any significant increase in power when using intakes or exhausts that were from a different manufacturer?

I saw the estimated gains depending on the mods used and I just wanted to make sure if it would still be the same if I didn’t use RR Racing’s intake and exhaust.

I have the RR tune with the HPS intake tube and F-sport filter. Car definitely pulls harder with the tune vs stock and revs higher before shifting under hard acceleration.

I also have the RR tune with their intake and F-Sport exhaust. Definitely pulls harder and my butt dino feels it's a little faster.
Regardless, love the tune. I'm very pleased with the results.

I might add they also provide a different tune when you have their intake with tune vs using a the stock one.

You'll need to specify which mods you have, and they will send the corresponding version of the tune

I contacted RR Racing and they said for their tune, any future bolt-on modifications added will be recalibrated and adjusted itself so you won't have to ask for a specific tune.

Good to know that's how that works...
And is it true you can flash it back to stock?
Is it safe?

Yes, you should be able to flash it back to stock if necessary. The only thing i'm not certain about is how you would go about doing so if you have already returned the OBD tuning unit back to RR Racing (maybe have to contact them again to ship out another one?).

You keep the OBD2 Tuning unit.
