I use the OEM Genuine Toyota Motor Oil but you're good with anything 5W-30, 0W-20

I used to use 5W-30 Mobil 1 with no problems. I recently changed to 5W-30 Lubro/Liqui Moly and haven't looked back, made in Germany and easy found at NAPA Auto Parts.

Though Walmart has Royal Purple on the shelf now right next to the Mobil 1 full syn I use, I still couldn't see myself spending the extra $10 for something that (to me) works the same. I've got an oil change coming up this weekend myself; looking forward to treating my Mistress to some fresh fluids.

I started with Mobil 1(5w30), but I would lose about a quart every 3k miles so I switched to Amsoil(5w20 then 5w30) was still burning oil. Finally decided to try Castro Edge and my oil consumption seemed to have been reduced significantly.

^For older or worn engines that burn oil, it might actually be better to run dino oil. The slicker full syn oils might be sneaking past piston rings or valve stem seals causing smoke or oil loss.
