Default 2jz-ge turbo 300hp help

Hello,
I am new to this forum and I have been doing a lot of research without ever signing up but I have questions that are still confusing to me.

1) I want to turbo the stock engine but I dont want more than 300-350 hp. I don't need a big turbo. What should I do to the stock engine to have it hold up this power?
2) Iv seen people doing the valve body upgrades on their auto trannys. Would i need to do this for roughly 300? Is that upgrade purely for when your pushing a lot of power? or is it just preventative. I know it makes for harsher but more effective faster gear changes which ultimately help your tranny last longer.
3) What kit could I get that comes with the most stuff and is the best bang for your buck (i prob want a t3 turbo or if it is good value, maybe a gt35)
4) The ECU. What is to be done about that? The kit that i would potentially be buying, does that manufacturer have good maps? Hopefully a more conservative tune would be good.

Thanks in advance.

First off, unless you want a headache, budget for a standalone such as an AEM EMS instead of any sort of piggy back... Aside from that, any bolt on turbo kit will be fine. You won't have to worry about the transmission at 300 hp, but if you intend on driving it hard often, an additional trans cooler would be a good idea... The engine will survive with a conservative tune at 300 hp also...

sweet, also, would i have to worry about the stock radiator? or does it cool the engine enough to where i wouldnt have to worry about it in a conservative tune?
