Just called Greddy and confirmed that Takeda and Greddy intakes are one and the same, and both are made by AFE, just branded differently.

Good info TheShaddix! I'll go with the more budget friendly option

Please post a pic or clarify what you mean by spacer. The rattle sound is not, however, the noise we have been talking about. But do share your spacer idea.

Default GReddy Intake Video Sound Clip

Here's a sound clip of the GReddy intake:

The GReddy is significantly louder than stock in person than what the video shows, the sound clip doesn't capture the sound difference very well. I tried to do a side-by-side comparison at the end of the video (in the same RPM range) so you can maybe appreciate the sound difference better. The GReddy has a louder, deeper, and throatier sound than stock, in person it is very noticeable under acceleration.

Did you get anything from the outside?

They're exactly the same. Takeda is owned by AFE, and the Takeda SRI is really just an AFE intake with a polished pipe and the Dry Pro S filter. The GReddy SRI is a rebranded Takeda - therefore, buy whatever is cheaper.

Thanks for your hard effort! I'm sure it makes much more difference in person than it sounds in video, and I'm sure many CL members will enjoy your clip!
