I was thinking a couple helmholtz resonators before the rear axle might be the solution to this.

Wow, that is the best sounding IS350 I have ever heard. Nice job.

How annoying is the drone? Still worth the benefits?

Would you be able to post up more pics from more angles if you get a chance? Maybe a quick DIY write up on what you started with and how you got it to where it is now. I may try and copy your setup ... if you don't mind.

What would be the downsides to bending the pipe, vs. the nuce cut and weld job you did?

Someone in my area is selling a stock exhaust system, I am thinking it would be easier to buy that and modify it, instead of using my current stock exhaust.

I had talked to my buddy who is a flow dynamics engineer and he said with the pulsing it should help to pull gasses. I did notice much better response and power from it after i did this exhaust. Ill see about getting an acceleration vid up
I realize this was posted a good half year ago, but my first time seeing this posting...anyways, would you still be willing to help out in making this exhaust, 2006 IS350? This is my first posting so idk how to follow up with feedback on here, can email me at myskyline210 at gmail dot com....appreciate your response

That is a very beautiful sound!! I would love to know more about purchasing this setup. I dont see a point in spending what Lexus wants for Fsport exhaust when this blows it out of the water!! Do you have any intake with this? My 07 350 is completely stock. And also do you ship. I am in Memphis TN.

Thanks everyone! I just do what i can. I am backed up on work right now but i will be making a few of these systems but i want to experiment with a couple more designs. MDHLexus, I put new blue led bulbs in my needle because they were burned out. I want to do the rest of the cluster soon just for the hell of it. Oh it is also on the stock intake system with the exception of the blitz drop in LM filter

I've had mostly V8s up until now and was debating going back to my old Flowmaster ways with this car since I don't know crap about import exhaust systems and haven't been too impressed with what's available for the 2IS. Glad to know it sounds amazing!!! Do you know what # series of Flowmasters you're using?

Just to be clear, the entire exhaust system goes : Primary Cats, Secondary removed, collect into the stock resonator then single into the muffler and double out to the back correct? If so, I am going to copy you because that sounds amazing

Edit: Nevermind. I read through the thread a little more carefully and realized you deleted the secondary cats and swapped the resonator for a muffler. I guess my only question would be do you throw any codes with the O2 bung simply welded on a straight pipe instead of after a cat? Also, what is the length of the muffler, looking online it looks as though they have 14 inch, 22 inch, and 24 inch.
