Default Cruise Control Flashing!!!

Hello, my name is John and Im very new to this site so bear with my stupidity on replying and what not. So here is the story, I just bought a 2006 Is350 and when i turn on the cruise control at any speed, it flashes and it wont let me set a speed. But when i make a complete stop while the cruise control is on, it stops flashing but when i hit the throttle, it starts flashing again. Any ideas on how to fix this?? Your help is much appreciated.

I would take it into the dealer, you can try unhooking the battery first and see if that resets it. Make sure to read the manual on how to reset your windows after you do this.

Default Its fixed

OK, so i finally figured out the whole cruise control issue. I went to the Dealer to have them inspect the flashing Cruise control light and after 2 weeks of looking, they found out that the wire harness under the hood in the firewall was NIBBLED on by a RAT, causing the Cruise Control to malfunction. It ended up costing me $500. Insurance took care of it because its a comprehensive issue/claim. In the picture it will show the NIBBLED green wire.
