I dont know where this confusion started, but the "LEXUS HKS" is NOT a first gen f sport.
1st gen f sport is an F sport without the engraving.
2nd gen f sport has the engraving.
Lexus HKS was a precursor to both of them.

Will the midpipe helps get rid of the drone or add more?

Not sure what that has to do with the HKS exhaust, but define "better"
I personally love a loud and deep sounding exhaust to I went with the HKS + Invidia combo. Getting midpipe with the stock exhaust wont be that loud
