Default exhaust sizing

Im new here and im in the market for a new exhaust if I get a mid pipe that says 60 / 70 millimeters and an axle back that is 2 and a half inch piping will they be compatible

I undertand that part but since the mid pipe is 60 mm Im obviously not going to be able to find an axle back thats 2.36 inches which is why im asking do they have to be the exact same size

Preferably, they should be the same size, but a shop could probably make that midpipe custom fit.
Why not just get a midpipe that fits properly??

I would if I could find one. Where do you recommend getting the mid pipe from and what axle back? Alotof the mid pipes that I findbare sold in millimeters
