Default HELP! Height issue after H&R Install

Hey guys

I had my H&Rs installed and I recently noticed that the right side of my car sits a little higher than the left side. I measured that the Right front and Right back wheels sit about 1/4" higher than the left side. Anybody have an idea why this might be? I am planning to take it back to the shop that installed it to have them take a look, but this bothers me a lot.

Crap, I posted this in the wrong section. Can someone move this to the Suspension section for me?

Thanks!

Don't worry it's normal. We call it the "Lexus lean" lol. Even at stock height the right side sits higher. With coilovers you can adjust the height for an even drop.

Normal. Most cars have that characteristic. I think the reason is because car manufacturer and engineer couldn't design the car with exact perfect weight distribution left and right, front and rear. More weight on one corner will result in lower ride height of that corner due to more suspension compression load.

The reason why you notice it after lowering because it is more easily noticable once the wheel gap is small. The left-to-right difference is there from the factory but not easily noticable because of enormous gap the stock car has.

I had noticed that as well on my IS as well and took it to the dealer, they said cause the steering wheel column is heavier which is why its a 1/4 inch lower on the left

Steering away from OP's question for a minute, but still on topic.......

So technically if we're on coils and we want the car to be exactly leveled, we can lower the Passenger front a little more than driver? Is that even recommended? Lol.

I think that is what most guys with coilover do. However, for many coilovers nowadays, the height can be adjusted without having to mess with spring preload as they are separately adjusted.
