That's very true you bought a heavy luxury car it won't be the same after stripping it down to try and save nominal amounts of weight. The car was built a certain way for a reason to dampen road noise and provide a comfortable ride.

If dropping weight is not a priority to you then you have never ACTUALLY raced a thing. Dropping weight helps in every aspect.
For example; 400hp in a 6500lbs vehicle or 300hp in a 3500lbs vehicle. the 3500lbs vehicle will out accel, deccel, and change direction than the 6500lb on.
Also, you should definetly do all that work and then dyno, Prove me wrong on the hp gain numbers.

I Have ACTUALLY raced a thing lol. I come from a family of mechanics Actually. I also realize weight reduction is super important in any competition performance application. My last car was a G35 coupe and before that I owned a 400hp turbocharged Integra Type R so I'm very familiar... I'm done with that phase of my life though which is the reason why I purchased a luxury sedan. I posted the original question to find out if there were any new break through's with performance in my car, I'm always open to new advances and wouldn't mind getting a few more ponies out of it, not to debate race car facts with you. I have better things to do then to keep ranting with you here too. So I'll leave that alone now. Thanks for the racing lesson!
