I too am debating on an exhaust right now. I've got a 2011 is250 fsport. I've seen and heard the fsport in person and it sounds great but the HKS hi power looks like another solid option. I'm used too loud exhaust my Charger is full 3 inch exhaust with headers/high flow cats and old truck was a diesel 5.9 cummins with a 5 inch turbo back exhaust and lots of other mods. I'm not against loud but I drive a lot for work and lots of people seem to be scared of the drone on hks hi power.

Anyone ever had both hks Hi power and fsport that can compare the two?

hks is deeper and more of a lower-rpm rumble ish exhaust
f-sport is higher pitched and more of a mid-high rpm exhaust (gets louder under WOT as rpm gets higher)

hks drones quite a bit...f-sport barely any noticeable drone

f-sport from the cabin u can hear exhaust is behind you
hks from the cabin sounds like exhaust is rumbling beside your head left and right by your ears (cuz of the drone)

so...

Im considering getting the F-Sport exhaust also and wondering if you have ever been pulled over by the cops? The F-Sport exhaust attracts my attention since its a factory exhaust system but i hesitate to buy it cause im paranoid for it to be too loud to where cops would put a target on me living in Cali.

I pass by the police all day with my is350 with the f sport axle back exhausted and I have floored it at that. It's not that loud. I can hear my engine threw the intake louder that the exhaust. I have the enjen cold air intake system.

Thats good to hear that it hasn't been a problem for you at all, but i wonder if New York cops are more lenient to exhaust noise. Cali cops are not cool at all as my friend with a stock infiniti g35 got pulled over once because they thought his stock exhaust was illegal and too loud haha.

honestly, everyone has different opinions. I like Hks, but i chose Joe Z. Do your research. Hks, Greddy, F sport systems are only offering a axle back system. The joe z is a true dual system. IMO more bang for the buck
