Can someone tell me how their GS300 '99 or any 98 and up shifts.

My tranny makes a rough transition after reversing to going forward. You feel the jolt and even like a thunk. The GS drives fine but annoying.

Please try and tell me or any solutions.

Sounds like you need to replace the ATF fluid. The same situation I had with the LS before which the ATF changeover fixed. I did two ATF change.

I just had it changed and it is still doing it. Did it take you twice before it was gone?

 

Yes. Twice before I noticed that the problem was gone.
