Default Photos of USDM vs JDM Twin turbos and Twin Turbo schematics with Toyota part #'s

(Hopefully we can get this stickied!)

Figured this will help some people out there..

Some of you may already know that the JDM ceramic turbos seem to be optimized for lower end torque and quick spool up. The USDM turbos are made with steel impeller wheels and are optimized for top end power. The USDM turbos also have a different cast manifold design with larger ports.

First off, photos showing the differences between the JDM Aristo twin turbos on a 2jzgte versus the USDM twin turbos on a 2jzgte Supra.

JDM ceramic turbos on top, USDM steel turbos on bottom

JDM o2 housing outlet 2.5 inches

USDM o2 housing outlet 3 inches

Lastly, a diagram of the USDM Supra twin turbos with part numbers for all of the pieces, gaskets, lines, etc. Hope this helps some of you guys out there needing parts.

They will bolt up, you will have to change your downpipe to a rmm supra tt unit as the jdm unit will no longer work since the flange is different.
