I'm interested to see if it'll actually perform as they've stated on the website. It doesn't seem like vehicle specific harness is included. Since you have an IS350, you might want to make sure it has the ability to work with both direct and port injections.

I've dealt with both AEM EMS standalone and GReddy Emanage piggy back on my boosted AP2. It was straight forward and tuning was painless. I hope MAP ECU3 works well for you.

Are you planning to go supercharged or turbo?

It's already installed and working......

I dunno which method I take yet. Turbo I think would be cheaper, but supercharger would have instant response. I dunno yet.

It's gonna be a bit though. I'm gonna acquire the parts over time, when I decide which way I'm goin

Personally I agree with you, if you're going to bother with the massive time/expense/effort, it should be because you're planning to run 600 hp, which is easy enough on a GTE motor rather than just the stock 320... and yet that's what the one and only guy who has successfully done this swap in the US did...stock GTE powertrain.

(he's the source for it taking hundreds of hours- and he does toyota/lexus engine swaps for a living- and the fact you won't get rid of all the dash lights (VSC/TC will never work for example))

Ever driven or riden in an aftermarket/custom fitted turbocharged vehicle? Man, there's nothing like it! Maybe it's just my personal perference from experience...but coming a turbo 423whp FWD Civic I'm perhaps bias. LOL! The sound of the open downpipe, open wastegate dump, and Greddy Type S BOV FTW! The good 'ol days! LOL

Oh, and about the turbo "lag"...it's all up to the specific turbo you get. BB, smaller exhaust housing, etc to help increase lower-end spool.

I highlighted your problem for you.

Torque steer sucks.

Plus, with an engine larger than a mountain dew bottle, you can make 423 without needing forced induction :P

I wouldn't trade it for a BMW, you'd prefer something that runs I assume.

An IS350 is the cheapest option to make it faster- 50% increase in hp for a 10% price increase.

An IS-F would be a 100% increase in hp instead but nearly a 100% increase in price.

Never had any torque steer with the Quaife LSD and Full-Race traction bar...always flew straight as an arrow under boost.

Don't hate the 1.6L...Z06 owners hated me at the track. LOL!

Front wheel drive sucks man. It is not something you should strive to make power on. RWD or AWD, leave the wrong wheel drive econoboxes for the teenagers to drive to high school.

Also, greddy S blow off valves suck. TiAl or go home.

Why? they were, stock, making more hp than you were in a vastly better handling vehicle, with bolt-on options to make even more without need of forced induction.

Don't take it personally, but the T-shirt I used to wear when I took my >500hp Impala to the track was this:

On the front in medium lettering:

"It's just a fact"

On the back in large lettering:

YOUR
HONDA
SUCKS

Default Well....

Plus, it makes no financial sense as an IS350 is only about 4k more and adds 102 hp.... any forced induction kit costs more and adds considerably less power to a 250.

For example there's one guy in Greece (where they don't sell 350s) who adapted the IS350 LMS supercharger kit to his car- he added considerably less than 102 hp and spent considerably more than the difference between a 250 and a 350.

LMS doesn't sell their kit anymore, because even on a 350 it made little sense (about 6k for 40-50 hp).
Well honestly having a car with over 300hp but not having a manual option is a waste!

Huh? why would you want to slow down a performance car with an antique transmission?
