Default Gte aristo swap 2001+ gs300 steering shifter?

If you did an aristo gte swap with the auto transmission would the steering wheel up/down shift still work?

I would think if the tranny is a sport shift trans and the computer has the ability to do it then yes why not, prob a lil bit of a wiring nightmare or possible tuning issues, and sorry I am a little new to the Lexus/Toyota world so I know it prob doesnt help you at all

no, unless you get the dash harness out of an aristo that works with the 4 speed tranny

This could be an option for you:

Keep the 5 speed current trans. have it built up professionally to withstand major horsepower. Jefftsai had his built to withstand over 700+ rwhp. And he also has parts made (ie. sprags).

You would not need the aristo ecu as well, since the stock lexus eco would control the trans.

You could pm Jeff, but you can also get a trans. module to control the transmission separately. SRT offered me that route, since I wanted to keep the e-shift.
