Default Midpipes

Just wanna know how easy it is to install. I asked a friend of mine to help me out but he keeps stalling me. I was wondering if this is a Rhino Ramp type of job. If it is then ill do it myself.

Supposedly the part that gives people the most problems is the removal of the O2 sensors.

The O2 sensor isn't on the intake pipe if I understand your question. The O2 sensor is underneath your car and takes readings after exhaust gases are past the exhaust manifold/headers.

I think there is two of them one on each mid pipe. I saw a post that one of them might give more effort to remove. But you never know what is going to happen with yours is a surprise.

I did it myself and it helps to have 02 sensor removal tool. The ramps do help thats what used. If the 02 sensor tool doesnt help then just take some metal snips and cut the shield in a way where you can bend it back. Dont cut through it IMO its their to protect the sensor and the wires. To help the job go by easily use a compressor and a impact wrench. If your car has miles on it then most likely the bolts are all rusted and will be a pain with the impact wrench the bolts will be out in a few minutes. I attached the two pieces outside to make life a little bit easier and then you just have to tighten 6 bolts under the car. You might need a hand under the car to hold up the midpipe while you install it. If your going to do it by yourself then just attach each part one by one.

by the way which mid did you get?

You can ramp it. A good trick to use when you remove the O2 is to use a long pipe(4 ft or so from home depot) that wil fit around your 7/8" (all O2 sensors are the same size) wrench for extra leverage. Make sure you disconnect the O2 harness so you don't pull all the wires out of the connecters from twisting the wires. All you have to do is break it free then you can remove it by hand. This method should be easier than using a impact gun Good Luck!

removing the o2 sensors is the hardest part, u have to the the right socket to get over the o2 sensor shield around it but not too big or u wont get enough leverage, also make sure u have a torch cuz its on there pretty tight and some liquid wrench

You dont need an impact gun, liquid wrench, wd40, or anything like that. Like bunthakev said, all you need is the o2 socket and a longer pipe to slip over the wrench to add more force.
