Default intake question

http://www.b2autodesigns.com/product...roducts_id=386

according to the link.. the Injen Short Ram Intake provides power gain up to 19 HP / 17 ft. lbs of torque.. is this for real? the number seems a little bit high..

Take all manufacturer HP numbers with a grain of salt.

It has been proven on this forum that no intake can provide that much gain. The best CL dyno tested intake is a JoeZ intake (5hp). All short ram intakes are functionally identical in design (Fujita, Ingen, Takeda, LMS, etc), give you minimal gain and often cause a loss of power.

It is difficult and expensive to wring additional ponies out of the IS350 engine. A combination of intake, full exhaust, and headers might yield an additional 20-25rwhp over stock.
