Does installing the Invidia Midpipe affect the car's emissions?
 

I'm planning to install an aFe Intake and HKS Hi-Power but I'm thinking about the Invidia Midpipes as well. What's the difference between the stock midpipes and the Invidia ones? I don't want to spend $350 and then fail the Illinois emissions test at the beginning of 2011 and have to take it off because of it. Thanks! :thumbup:

the invidia pipes deletes the secondary cats, dont know about the smog tests over there but ull pass the sniffer but it wont pass the visual if u guys have one

like vinconist said, you won't pass the visual if Illinois has one.

My relative owns a smog shop and I passed. The emissions part will pass because your primary cats are intact. Visual is nothing a 12-pack of your local technicians favorite beer can fix:)

daaaamn hks hi power with invidia?! lol its gonna be loud! :D anyways you'll pass emissions but it depends on who you go to for the test. some technicians will let you off visual and others wont.
