Default 2jzgte vvti 6spd from supra??? gs300 possible?

i did a advance search to see if anyone have look into or did this swap, but didnt find much here. The question i have is as far is the engine drop in, but fabrication to the tranny, is the ecu be a plug a play with a couple wires changes like the aristo vvti or the wiring will be different since its from a last year supras?

im going to look into teh wiring to see the difference which anything is possible...if i can find a diagram.... will post update soon if i find some information but as for now, if anyone have any information to share be nice...

thanks

ALTHOUGH OP was asking about a 6 speed swap and adams is a 5 speed swap(I think.)Maybe most of the info is about the same,i would assume, but im not 100% sure so you can ask adam or TTURBOPIMP the details and since its hard to "read" sarcasm no thomas i wasnt trying to be rude to you either

TTurbopimp has a V8 swapped 6 speed though

yes OP it can be done just VERY expensive, just the 6 speed tranny is expensive

My main question is the ecu part.... this engine came off a supra in japan that have a vvti 2jzgte with a manual 6spd, i believe is from a RZ model... i did read adam thread which he is using the non-vvti model with a 6spd., my concern is the ecu part where... will it be a plug n play or have to play with wires... and believe its a 98 as in japan, 98 supra was introduced with vvti N/A or boost.... i rather get this swap with worth the money to it... if not going to work then my other option is to use the Haltech sports 2000 when converting to a manual with a 5spd or 6.

Better and easier to just go with a standalone if you're going to be doing 6spd. That's what I'm going to do pretty soon when I start building my race motor.

just a side note that hasnt been mentioned...... you will also need to convert the rear sump over to a front sump (you can use your stock GE pan i believe you will just need to drill and tap for the oil drain)

as far as im aware nobody has tried to use the supra harness and ecu...... maybe it works, maybe it doesnt........ i would say go standalone anyway
