Default deleting resonator

hey all

i'm planning to delete my resonator ... anything i should know about .. like draw backs ... or air care problems ?

also is it reversible to stock ? is it just a simple thing of wielding it back on or off?

thanks

Yep weld on and off but no idea why you would want it back on, love the sound without it on my Tanabe.

just in case i have to get rid of the car .. i would like it as stock ..

thanks for the input!

oh also is it just as simple as driving to your local budget muffler and brakes and asking them to remove the resonator ?
or would i have to provide the pipe replacement?

They should be providing it, at least mines provided it and yeah any muffler shop should be able to weld your resonator back on.

Has anyone removed their resonators with a stock exhaust with a video clip of it?

My friend suggested delete the mufflers and do an X pipe on the stock exhaust. What do you guys think?

I deleted mine with stock exhaust. It gives it a deeper tone, I dont have a clip but ill try to upload one later but there is someone on you tube with a res delete and stock mufflers. It sounds nice outside but you dont really hear it inside.

What do you suggest for the exhaust besides going with a cat-back exhaust?

just got mine done ...
its no where as loud as this
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yQM9DT-4qIA
my fsport intake kinda covers the exhaust ... so its not really noticeable .. if you in the car .. you can't hear it at all ..... even when i stood at the back .. i had to try to tune out the intake note to hear it

edit: nvm it sounds like a G now LOL
