I know on the G35 forum people have dropped RB26's in.
so how much of a difference would this make to the vehicle
horsepower wise?

Well this is the legendary engine of the supra. I believe stock it makes 320 hp / 335 ft lb but more importantly the twin turbos of this set up make it extremely amenable to aftermarket boosting.

supras can easily get over 1000 HP with proper tuning, and the engine is seemingly indestructible and can easily handle that kind of power. that's what makes the supra so legendary.

Falken had one in their drift car.

Nothing -else- in the car worked of course.

One guy tried to swap in a 2JZ plus make the rest of the car work, he was over $50,000 invested (plus the cost of the original 2IS) and still didn't have everything working last we heard.

This is not a vehicle for which an engine swap would be easy (or at all sane, cost-wise)

Oh gotcha. Just thought it would be easier than supercharging. The 2JZ can get ridicules HP numbers without breaking the bank.
