Default K&N air intake kit

Hi All.
Im thinking to add a few horses by adding a air intake to my IS 250-6mt, any thoughts on kind and would it be worth it?

try the F-Sport Intake

you wont notice the few HP anyway.....

For your first question:
K&N is a SRI, I believe, while the F-Sport is a CAI.
Short Rams aren't as good for performance according to some people, but... They produce a nice sound that appeals to many people, and any intake doesn't yield too much in terms of gains. Thus, some just shop for intakes based on sound, which gives you a placebo effect (in your mind: more noise -> more, Imagined performance).
As for the Cold Air Intakes they produce the most gains on our cars. The Joe Z and F-Sport are very similar in many aspects, including identical gains. The difference between the two is that the F-Sport is more expensive and comes with the intake box, which makes more noise. If you want to achieve more noise with the Joe Z, just drill holes or buy the lower half of the F-Sport intake box.

Going with the Joe Z will be the best bang for your buck. Everyone who has bought one can testify that it's a great intake and high quality product made by a fellow CL member.
