Installed Intake and Exhaust
I went with the Tanabe MT Exhaust and the F-Sport Intake.
I installed the exhaust first. It added a nice little hum and some deeper sounds at WOT and in the higher RPM's.. probably just enough. no drone on the highway. It was just what I was looking for.
Next I installed the F-Sport intake. It added a nice howl when you get on it. Both are EXTREMELY easy to install and only take a few minutes. Exhaust probably took me 15 minutes and another 15-20 for the intake.
I didn't want the car to be too loud. I've had plenty of LOUD on my other cars over the years. however I like to shift through the gears once in awhile and you just cant optimally shift when you cant hear the engine at all. This combination adds some nice sounds to the car.
Overall it feels a little spunkier. It may just be a combo of the sound and my imagination, but It definitely feels different.
If you are just looking for sound from the intake, DON'T spend the $300. Go buy yourself a $40 K&N air filter and cut a 2x3" hole in the front lower section of your intake box. I may mod my stock box just to show everyone how to do it. It will achieve the same sound as the intake.
Next up: 15mm spacers all around.

Congrats! I'm in the same boat as you with the loud-ness.
I have my intake installed, but have been waiting for some of the salt to get washed off the road before I install the Tanabe, can't wait.
