The engine has a 12:1 compression ratio, you're not going to be able to safely run much in the way of forced induction on the motor.

Even the larger IS350 motor sucks for this application, with the only kits being supercharger kits that bump power by about 15% for a cost of 6-10 thousand dollars.

yes they made them, gave about 40-50hp more then stock

Is350 CR is 11.8. these motors are high strung and was not designed for forced induction. and the fuel delivery system is complex.

cars now are controlled by electronics, not like a 5.9 mustang and drop a vortec supercharger on it and be at 600hp, just not going to happen

I plan that when my car warranty over, I will order the engine of IS350 from Japan and install it into my IS250. Anyone know that IS250 and IS350 have the same 100% body? Can it be drop in? My car is auto transmission. So, do they need to modify the transmission rate?

The reason that I didn't buy IS350 because my country available only IS250 "_"

Won't work for like half a dozen reasons.

The biggest ones off the top of my head are:

The transmission is completely different for one.

So are the computers for another.

The IS350 engine has twice as many fuel injectors too.

I suppose you could order an entire powertrain, all the sensors and computers, all the additional hoses and fittings and parts, etc, etc...then figure out how to swap all of it in.

It'd probably cost twice as much as just importing a working IS350 though.

agreed , i would rather save those 10-12 grand for the turbo and buy an 08 IS-F next year in 2010. You can probably get the ISF in those circumstances for around 40gs.

In Thailand, I bought IS250 RWD Premium Package + Sun Roof at 3,490,000 Baht or around $ 101,159. (Exchange rate @ 34.5 Baht per US Dollars)

How do you think about the IS350 or even IS-F ?

GS300 Premium Package was around 5.4 million Baht.
LS460 was around 10 million Baht.

My country import tariff for whole car was around 250-300 percent which depend on CC of engine.

So, Sad "_"
