Default ECU & ECT for (Second Gen) IS300 owners

Ok so here is the deal, we need a minimum of 10 second generation IS300 owners from the middle East and China, for MHP to justify doing the work to crack our ECUS and ECT. SO i wanna gauge the interest level

I know some of you will want to wait for Juans Dyno to fully make up ur mind about the product. We are looking at a price of around $2000-$2500 for gains of around 10-20 hp (guesstimate), yes this a bit pricey but i DO think it will make the world of difference for our very under powered car.

If ur not familiar with MHP and what they are trying to do check out this ongoing thread:

So if ur interested please add ur name to the list

Cool gesture to crack the 2gen is300 ecm, but the cost is too high now. Maybe down the road, it will be quite less as the model has been out long enough. Just wish the 2gen 250 and 300 had about 30 more bhp's oem.

Can you please include MHP in this thread? If MHP is willing to deliver the following for $2.5k then I'm all in :

With ECU/TCU tuning you will experience quicker/firmer shifts (up and downshifts), consistant shift points, raised (to a safe limit) shift points, heightened throttle response and modified part throttle tables not just WOT. Basically your car will feel and drive completely different than it does now. ECU/TCU gains are greater than intake/exhaust put together no question.

In no way shape or form do we sacrifice daily drivability for performance increases.

My understanding is that the tuning will be custom to MY car, with my fitted performance parts:
  • K&N drop in filter
  • JUN-TW headers (with cats)
  • Megan Racing mid-pipes
  • Fabulous axle-back
  • Running on 95 octame
  • Also please note that the weather in my region is hot and humid (think Cali)

sorry for the delayed response

No worries bro, anything to make our cars faster

As for MPH, he is aware of this thread, however im sure he got his hands full with ISF and IS350/250's The IS300 is the last thing on his mind, thats why im trying to arouse interest amongs the 5 of us on here. So if u have friends that are interested or members who are silent, this is for you
i wanna add that:
The price of 2500 is only valid if we have 10 people who are interested and willing to pay for this tune.

Tuning would take into account for ur modifications

My understanding from the IS-F/GS/LS/SC threads that MHP charge $2,000 for ECU upgrades & $2,500 for TCU upgrades...

If only I can find a reputable shop here that can make a reliable FI kit... ndk, any shops in Dubai that you vouch for?

yea thats the IS-F price, but he is pricing his ECT and ECU's according to the price of the vehicle, so our is cheaper yay. but so far it wont happen

Sorry dont have any info on forced induction. its such a shame though, as our cars have much lower compression ratios than the x50 guys
