meh, i think its believable...i once did a 13.4 @ 129 in my old civic, on street tires.
i am really disapointed in my times.
1998 gs400, k&n filter, denso iridium IX's, HKS axle back mufflers, on big 20" rims (with a 285 wide tire)
my best so far is a 15.18 @ 96mph. with a 2.3 60'
My car constantly only spins the pass. rear tire...so im looking at shimming the sway bar and try to get it to spin both tires. hoping that by getting traction i can get into the 2.1x 60' range and dip into the 14's where i should be lol

Any video link for this run? I only seen the 11 second video. Also this is a 2nd gen performance forum, the 2nd gen's are a different animal when it comes to modding, I wish my car was as easy to mod as the old GS300. I would like to hear from other members to see if they want this list to include the 1st gen GS or not.

jeff is (i think DONT QUOTE ME) MID 500 horsepower or more and rwd i just thought it would be mid 12's to low 11's, yes its heavier but still. and again im not knocking him or anyone im very impressed with him and his build quality and knowledge....like i said slicks should def knock him into mid 12's easily if not a high 11

Well Jeff ran 12.6 so he's in the mid 12's already. From listening to that video it sounds like his torque converter is slipping all the way down the track, I think he had a converter issue.
The 14's are almost off the list, keep the times coming!

so yea slicks will be the biggest determining factor, but i think adamgamz summed it up already

I'm going for the 2nd gen GS #1 spot this Friday on street tires, no spray on pump gas and low boost. I may eat my words but I think I can break 11.7's My GS300 is finally running really nicely, got a good set up!

interestingly enough my sohc did not break 1 single part...ever. not even so much as an axle.
i sold that car, and built a GSR motor. did 500whp and broke lots of parts...eventually it dropped a valve destroyed the motor. then i built an n/a h2b and put it in the integra, then sold it....and got out of hondas all together, and now im here
you have a username on honda-tech? i would probably recognize it. i am fast2camciv on there.

i feel ya ive been a honda man since i could drive (doesnt help when your dad owns his own Honda/Acura service shop, and has been wrenchin on hondas for 32 years lol) i had my first honda when i was 14 (that was 17 years ago lol)
this is actually the first car i have ever owned that wasnt a honda.
now if i could just get it to be as fast as a honda hahah!

Ya i think he broke into the 12's on his old setup if he could build enough boost and get traction he could probably get some good times with the new setup..

I never made it to the track Friday, then on Saturday my R154 let go. I'm having it rebuilt with Marlin Crawler upgrades, hopefully it will hold the power now.
