I'm looking to replace my stock exhaust. I don't want one of the axle back kits. I'd like to find something that has all the mandrel bent tubing to the Y pipe and eliminates the resonators as well. I have a GS430 and want that deep muscle car tone.

carson tuned exhaust is cat back and the best sounding to me! just my .02! I think there are others that are cat back too.....just don't recall them!

 

Wayyyyyy to many to name. From off the top of my head, Carson Tuned, Tanabe models, JP models, JIC, Greddy. Feel free to correct or add to this list. The l tuned website has a pretty comprehensive list as well.

 

FYI, there are no real cat back systems for the 4xx's models. If you want a true cat back you would have to get a custom Y, H, or X pipe fabricated. All of the exhaust systems out there start at the mid muffler. However, some people here claim our stock Y pipe has enough flow and does not need to be upgraded. Do a search because this topic has been talked about a lot.

 

i've got the tanabe med touring and lubba it. it came with 2 mufflers and the y-pipe. dont ask me about resonators cuz i dont know the difference between that and my cats i'm happy with mine cuz its state legal and the sound is sweet. if you look at mine from the rear, it looks awesome cuz u see the tanabe piping all the way down.

also, you want to eliminate the resonators-doesnt that have to be 'deleted' by a muffler shop?
