Looks awesome Adam! I would think about switching out your steering wheel for a newer version one without the e-shift on it. That would complete the "no automatic transmission was here look" lol. Since you already went this far!

Nice finishing of the console/shifter Adam...

Keep that wheel - We may need those buttons to control Anti-lag, Nitrous, roll control, etc.

Hey Rick, good to see you can over to club lexus! For the guys that didn't know, Rick AKA speeder is the tuner that got my car to this point.

My buddy Eric and I are now installing a GS400 3.27 rear with a TT Supra Torsen LSD unit, does anyone want the 3.92 stock open diff? Time to spin both wheels! The car should pull much better through 1st and 2nd gear now, rick was showing me on the datalogs how the car was just starting to make boost when I had to shift into 2nd and 3rd, the longer gearing should help out.

What a difference the rear makes, I can do 55mph in 1st gear now, cruising down the road at 55 MPH I'm under 2000 RPM, this rear feels much better, time to lay down two patches of rubber.

By the way I think you got that backwords, the 98-2000 GS300 had no E-Shift, the 2001 - 2005 GS300 got the tiptronic Eshift buttons, these come in handy for things like Rick said.. N20, Line Lock, Antilag, 2 step rev limiter, etc..

How's your 1st and 2nd gear spool now? Better?

... ...your right, I was thinking of the GS400 & GS430 models. The older GS400 has it and the newer GS430 doesn't have it... BUT the newer GS300 does whereas the older does not (as you pointed out). lol. I forgot that you have a (seriously) modded GS300. Glad to see everything coming along nicely.

BTW, just out of curiosity because I am not too involved with modding the GS to the extent of you and some others on here...performance wise what is different that you did with your GS other than the manual swap? Does the manual swap make the car that much more of an animal? I didn't realize the GS has so much unlocked potential hidden in our (sluggish) auto trannies.

Yea Rick, so much better, I'm hitting 55 MPH in 1st gear, its awesome. I'm in boost much longer and don't have those quick shift down low anymore, I lovet he way the LSD feels too, this was a great mod to do.

Rock, yea man. These cars a 4 door Supras, the stock auto's feel like they sap allot of HP through the drivetrain then the torque converters feel like they slip too much, I had so many issues bouncing off the rev limiter, the shifting was delayed even with the new valve body mod. I'm so glad I did the manual swap!

Adam
