I made mine from my K & N FIPK! Just extended the piping into the wheelwell. Since my install I was getting a CEL because of the larger and colder volume of air entering and passing the MAF sensor so I shortly reverted back to the original K & N FIPK setup (like SRT setup) and built a cold air box...which is also very good but the extended CAI is by far much better ONLY if you have an A/F tunner (controller) like the Apexi Neo which I just bought. I will be reveting back when I get this tunner installed. The car was running lean with the CAI extension the tuner should clean this up. We'll see.
Previous setup but going back to very soon...

a 90 deg bend downward behind the passenger headlight. You need to cut a 4" diameter hole downward thru the sheetmetal there for the pipe to fit. The filter resides inside the wheelwell about 8" from the ground.
The car felt almost like it had a turbo boost. There was a bit of a lag at WOT and then it would hit all at once but I also got a CEL even WITH the Apexi A/F controller. Between this CEL and the filter being so close to the ground (filter got dirty from debris and is also suseptable to hydrolock from large puddles) I removed everything and went back to the regular intake setup under the hood.
