Default What are the best mods for a GS430

Hey guys, I am a car newbie and I am getting a 2002-2004 GS430 within a week or two. I was wondering what are the best mods to make it go even faster and handle/ride smoother. Thanks a lot.

Welcome to the CL family man. The 430 reponds well to intakes, exhausts and a TC (torque converter). That will definitely help with acceleration; if you really want to go fast look into a supercharger or turbo setup, but that's $$$,

Handling, a lot of members go the coilover route some go with lowering springs. You may want to upgrade your sway bars and bushings and or look into some under links. If you look or search under the suspension category, you'll find a lot of info that should help.

Intake, headers, full exhaust, and an SAFCII.

That's enough to pull away from a stock GS430 like nothing.

Sorry to hi-jack the thread but where do you get a supercharger for a gs430?

Im looking to buy the same car as JMoney but I want to make sure there are a lot of parts to make it faster..haha

Also have a 430 with a supercharger? What kind of quarter mile times are you looking at?

Thanks!

its a air fuel controller. It basically let you tune the air and fuel mixture for your car. You can tune it to your mods as well. With all the stuff GSteg just said on a 430 you are looking at like 290wheel. Thats like +50 wheel over stock, a nice little jump imo

what GSteg said + LSD, without traction power is pointless.
TQs on the 430s, can run the risk of having a cel.
