Default TurboEast GS430 Project

Has anyone seen or heard if it was completed? Here's a link to their website.

Looks like a handful as far as pipe routing, and cutting into the rail is someting that I'd stay away from. Also where is the turbo filter going to go, into the fender area? Myself, I like the twins.

Save for the intake mani it looks just like the Srt setup from a couple years ago, same turbo placement etc..

The turbo manifolds are different in design; the SRT mani's looked much like the restrictive stockers. The turbo mani material is 14 guage vs. thinner more commonly used 16 guage. The wastegate placement is also different from the SRT design. Really about the only thing the same is the fact that we both have two turbos mounted sideways, and the fact that we both have a 2 into 1 downpipe.

I think you are talking about the old manifolds, check out Jeff's (TTurbopimp) car. But I was mostly referring to the turbo placement, not that there are really many more options for TT on a Gs4xx. I could be wrong, it's been awhile since I''ve looked at Jeff's car, either way has there been progress on this car?

Yeah, the GS is limited on where a pair of turbos can go. It's tight in there. I've seen Jeff's car, I was suppose to trade my MKIV Supra for his GSTT back in 2006 but it just never went through. His manifolds ride high to where the may interfere with removal of the valve covers. Plus they concentrated a lot of heat towards the top of the motor. He told me that he's melted plenty of wires and connectors.

Eric,
What turbo are those? Just wondering why you aren't running the V-band set up? There isn't anything to take the shocks and vibration away. You are running the solid engine mounts?

Those are the best small turbos on the market. Twin Schweitzer S256's. I am using SC400 motor mounts.

The entire piping is going to be wrapped. I'm also going to use shielding if need be for the area coming off of the turbos into the intercooler piping

Cowboy, are you working on the TurboEast project or this is your own design/project? I am thinking of visiting the shop since it's here in Maryland, I didn't know you was working on something similar.
