Yeah, the Weapon*R has two sections connected by rubber/plastic sleeve and tightening ring from other pictures I've seen (from Bliu).

I would be happy to explain the reason the intake had a recall and to give my opinion on intake as well.

First I want to say I would never ever buy an intake with a foam filter and put it on any of my cars so that nocks WR off my list.

If I were you I would get the SRT HFI because it is the best intake out there bar none. However if you were set on WR or Injen I would get Injen.

The Injen intake for the IS300 was recalled because the IS300 has ODB II computer and that cause problems the check engine light came on, because of the more aggressive filter they made originally for the Intake, so the fix is a replacement filter. The second gen intake from Injen for the IS was made to fix the ruff idle which caused stalling problems, the first one had. They also added at that time a heat shield and larger diameter pipe.

You are so full crap how is the WR foam filer better then an oiled cotton type filter?

I can prove my point but, would love to hear your's...
