Default Best Sounding Exhaust?

WHat do you guys think is the best sounding exhaust based on the most non-ricey exhaust that is deep but not too deep. I guess Im looking for the middle ground not too deep, loud or ricey all in one package that adds some HP as well. Discuss!

I just put on my Full Cat Back Megan Exhaust Saturday and I noticed more of a HP increase than with just adding the intake alone (SRI by Injen) It's not loud at all and the sound KIND OF reminds me of a Supra..Just a little bit...It actually has it's own unique sound..never really heard a car sound like this.

Like most exhaust..You only hear it from 1500-3000rpm...Then the sound of the intake takes over. (Not Ricey at all

For some stupid reason I didn't dyno it before I put the SRI on but afterwards it was @ 252whp...Saturday I'm taking it to get it dyno'd again..I'll post the results when I'm done because I'm thinking about selling the intake and doing the stock set up with the drop-in HKS filter.

Here are some pictures that I've came across of this exhaust... Mine was $876 shipped from an online store ***Not the one posted below***

I have the Greddy SP2 and it is perfect. As I explained in my other thread, it is much more deep than loud. Certainly, no one would say it is ricey. Just enough to give it some attitude. Plus it is much cheaper than the Megan. Never heard the Megan BTW. I got my Greddy for $540 shipped from www.sportcompactonly.com

I would say that given the exhausts I have heard, GReddy sounds the best if you're looking for a slightly aggressive-but-not-too aggressive sound. Pity the canisters are so huge.

I have the HKS Hi-Power on my car and I love it. It sounds very deep inside the car. Only had it inside a parking garage once but I wanted to drive around inside all day. I want to let someone else drive my car so I can hear it as it drives away. Though I havn't heard any others in person yet. I love mine, and at $575 shipped it's Gangster!!

I have the greatest sounding exhaust on CL ! hahah.

Actually, in person I like the way the tanabe sounds. There is a thread on CL that has pretty much every exhaust video link there is. Go find it, and listen to them all on a stereo that has a sub woofer hooked up to it.

Everyone is going to have a different opinion! You need to listen to them and decide for yourself. It's the only way.

hah i'm the same way. i had my car in the parking garage at my school, and one area there is no one around i opened her up right through first gear, public security was around the corner......but they let me go it was the last week of classes. but i do love the sound nice and deep, does ave resonance but i like it. i like it more because i got it for $454 shipped. but yea i do love it, i didn't want something quit but something aggressive, i o wish it was louder in the upper rpm range but when cruising around is when u hear it the most and the loudest.
