Well, the beneficial part of flushing your transmission and power steering is a maintence matter more than anything. I've notice that my transmission shift better when I flush the fluid. So I highly recomend that you go out and get yourself three quarts of toyota Type IV transmission fluid and do a simple flush and drain. It doesn't hurt to have new fluid in the transmission as it can only help lubricate better.

Well if u plan to go synthetic, dont use toyota type IV fluid as is dyno fluid I was told.

Starting in 2004 the GS had synthetic tranny fluid from the factory already.

The only two transmission fluid that the A650E transmission that is equipped in our cars that we can use without trickly the CEL is the stock Toyota Type IV fluid and the Amsoil synthetic transmission fluid. Both of these fluid are synthetic from factory. Don't ask me how I know this but trust me when I say those are the only two fluid that can be used in our transmission.

Be absolutely certain you refill with the correct fluid. This Mobil ATF 3309 meets Toyota type T-IV.

How would Mobil ATF 3309 compare with Mobile One synthetic for use in second generation GS3? I've used Mobile One ATF very successfully in my 99 Isuzu Trooper...184K miles.
