Default Tanabe Medallion - Do it again?

I'm curious... all you folks who've had your Medallion for a while now. Would you get it again? Has it become annoying at all on the highway? Any drone?

I've always had a serious hatred for automatic cars with aftermarket exhausts... that horrid drone you get between shifts just sounds like crap. BUT, at the same time, the IS is just TOO quiet for me. I really want to hear some engine noise.

A penny for your thoughts...

same here...I'd do it again.

Yesterday, I had 3 passengers in the car and one noticed the deeper tone while the other two thought it was the stock car sound. It's just about right as far as I'm concerned.

I think that will do it for me, I prefer a minor change in tone, I hate loud exhausts.

To all you guys and maybe gals with the Tanabe, how much power you think you got, how much of a difference do you feel??

and prices please
how much

Nicely hijacked. The Tanabe isn't going to add any power worth mentioning, it's essentially axle-back. A couple HP maybe, nothing you'll feel.

As for how much, browse the net. I'm sure you'll find a few variations from the upper 500's to the mid 600's.

I was able to feel a reasonable amount of torque gain from the exhaust. It definately gives the car more "PEP"

What's the general impression of sound inside the cabin when cruising at highway speeds?

I'm still loving it till now. I was one of the lucky ones who got to test the exhaust before it came out for sale and imo, it's still the best sounding exhaust out there for the 2IS.

I like mine. If there were more options I might re-think it, but I think its one of the best looking bolt-on's out right now.

I can't find any others for the IS 350. (street legal) What are the other legal choices?

well, there is the lms exhuast which is the only other available exhuast that is bolt-on, but of course that really isn't street legal. i was waiting for the hks/lexus exhuast, but i got tired of waiting.
