Default My NA-T with TT intake manifold

Still needs lots of cleaning up the engine bay....but my first goal is to get it working. Entire engine will come out later for a TT shortblock and upgraded tranny. Don't have a throttle cable yet, but I know I have one around my garage somewhere that is long enough, I will have to look around.

I definatly get better throttle response out of this though. My IC pipes came today so I will be hooking them up on saturday.

For my power steering, I just cut open the stock reservoir and welded on a 10AN steel fitting an attached a barbed hose adapter and ran it with a 7MGTE reservoir. I will take pictures of that later.

Easy access to spark plugs.

Much cleaner looking engine bay....after I clean up mine.

Intake doesn't get heat soaked near as bad.

Shorter IC routing

Cleaner IC piping

Larger throttle body for better throttle response and better overall powerband

I can run a one-piece spark plug cover

And there are probably a few other things that I don't know of...or think of.

Some day my friend...some day. Poor thing just sits until I finish with all my other projects, then it will get some TLC.

nice stuff bro. so how much work did you have mating the GTE upper to the GE lower mani? I think I held mine up before and it was a bit of spacing between the runners that was the issue.

mine is finally finished and running BTW.. so here is my "GTE manifold on a 1st gen".. except mine is a full 2jzgte...

very nice...very clean. How much boost you running? How you liking those turbos?

Took me quite a while to mod the runners..but the TIG really helped with that...coudn't have done it without it.

I still am having my ignition problem though...anything more than 7 psi and it starts sputtering really bad. I am now running an MSD blaster coil...but that didn't help. Tomorrow I will close my gap to .030 and see if that helps.

LOL.. due to a design flaw.. (yea I'm still testing this) I'm running only .40 bar or 5.8 psi. I have 2 wastegates, one at .40 and one at .70. Problem is, the manifold halves are joined by a flexible bellows (stock Supra/Aristo mani) and all the boost pressure is venting thru the bellows and venting the #1 wg before it reaches 10 psi for the second. Shortly i'll be removing the turbo kit again and separating the mani halves completely, that should solve my problem.

FWIW... boost is starting at 2900rpm. i cant wait for some HKS 272/264s.

I went to the dyno today...still can't stop it from breaking up over 7 psi...also my Boost controller died...What the crap!!!!. Thing just won't turn on anymore. I am pretty ticked about that.

Anyway, even with the breakup over 7psi and 6,000 RPM, I still managed to get about 280RWHP.

I just bought some new wires cap and rotor...I will put those on tomorrow and I hope that cures the problem.

Was able to get a great run though.. Had an hour and a half of tuning. Right between 11.4 and 11.7 between 4,000RPM and 6500RPM.

I can't believe how much it mad a difference in driving. I was about 220RWHP when I started.

Not bad man, thats about 125 more horsepower at the wheels that stock...according to my dyno anyway. Thats a badass A/F though. Keep us updated bro, everything is looking good!
