Question Waterpump/timing belt QUESTION

Is changing of the waterpump and timing belt something that is very hard to change (in other words, should I go to Lexus, or should a good mechanic be able to do this with no problem)? And if so, what are the more delicate areas of the change? What are the risks of having it done wrong? Just would like someone to shed some light on this, for I am clueless to this. I have to change mines and I want to know if I should go to Lexus (and pay lexus labor $$) or just get a reputable mechanic with hopes to save some change?

Too bad you are not here in California, because I would help you change it.

I am sure there are other owners close by that wouldn't mind giving a helping hand if they had the time.

A reputable shop should be able to do the timing chain replace. Save the money.
