What would you guys get....

...also want the Apex'i or Blitz lookiing exhaust

 

L-Tuned or HKS Hi-power. But I am very very very biased.

 

Imo the HKS is the choice growls like a V8, but quiet at idle, and cruise speeds. The Blitz was my next choice of the two, and from what i've heard the blitz has a more of high pitched growl then HKS Hipers. Next year i am going with the JIC system.

Just bought a 1999 GS400 and I am trying to decide which exhaust to buy. I am not concerned as much about performance .... I just want a deep throaty V8 growl that looks good with a stock rear bumper and wouldn't break the bank. Which one would you recommend and where would you recommend buying it?

Hks hands if you want a deep V-8 sound, if you want to hear what it sounds like go to www.rodmillenstore.com theres a sound clip under the rmm intake. Also ebay has the hks for $500 brand new right now so go for it you won't regret. Again this is what it looks like on my baby.

 

If you want that deep v8 sound for a good price I would go with magnaflow 181 bucks for two mufflers. go to magnaflow.com for sound samples

 

Its nice to see Borla in a cool second place I've been in lexforlife's car he has the HKS and the sound is great. No disturbing cabin noise whatsoever I still like borla as it pertains to stock but it doesn't look stock at all
