Default Single disc vs Multi disc TC

What is the difference between single disc and multi disc TC's? Is one "better" than the other? Is one used for a different application?

i don't think it's better or not, it's about the application and which one to use. for example the tc for the gs4, i believe it's a single disc tc setup, whereas the one for the gs3, it's a multi disc

i don't think you can interchange them at all

And lucky for you guys with the v8, the single-disc ones cost less.

Generally speaking the triple disk is considered a better converter.I know on most applications Precision offers both.
On Lincolns where we now have full control over the computer we can alter the line pressure, the lock up schedule and the shift points and the triple disk handles the abuse of the early lock up.
