Part number for AFE Filter from SRT's intake system..
 
I'm going to order a replacement filter and need the part number to do so. Anyone know the part number of the AFE filter that comes on the SRT intake system? Its not on my filter and I tried to cal AFE and they don't know since SRT uses a univeral filter for their systems..Help appreciated. :)

What about a K&N air filter would that work :uh: Then you only have to buy it one time and clean every once in a while :thumbup:

i don't think K&N makes a filter with a 3.5 inch opening base to fit the srt intake...

Actually, they do and it's what I'm running on mine. I'll see if I can't get the part number for you.

No problem, I still don't have the part #, go to the K&N website and look under the extreme/racing series of filters. You can always pick it up for next time :)

Ummmm......the AFE is a K&N type....washed and oiled mine this weekend!

actually its not..your not suppose to oil it, Its a dry filter

If you bought an Intake from SRT within the last few months then you should have a dry filter ... I bought mine in October of '07 and when I talked to them they told me they are using the dry filters now since they last longer :thumbup:
