Hey gang, looking at this unit for awhile now.. Seems simple yet produces decent gains.. Just wondering does anyone actually have this?

I've seen IS300s with them but I don't recall a GS300 with it installed.

LXOGOOD did. But yes rare. Most go Turbo.

Still FI is already rare as it is.

right only there non vortech system fits the gs. and it pumps out about 250 rwhp non intercooled.

i haven't seen a gs used any of the plp systems, not that there bad, just that i haven't seen or heard of anyone use it..we usually go turbo on our gs3's

now Ken's custom SC is a real nice set up pumping out about 300rwhp and soon more when he upgrade some things

I believe there might be slight fitment differences for the GS and IS. I think the Powerdyne version was fitted onto a local NorCal GS and that is why it is offered on the website. I don't think the final GS fitment R&D was done on the Vortech version so it is only "released" to the IS.

D-MAN.. Go to is300.net and do a search on PLP and the Powerdyne/ Vortech Superchargers. A few guys have had some problems with both units from PLP and it seems like no one really recommends them anymore. Problems occured after several thousand miles on them. It's not a problem with PLP, just the SC's they used for the application.

Thanks guys for the responses..

Lxogood, I have been looking at your setup and really like the install.. I am deciding between an SC or a Turbo.. I want to have more power than a 430 yet not beat records in horsepower.. Somewhere between 275-325 rwhp. One of the biggest factors I have to be concerned about is driveability.. I have never owned a FI car so I wouldn't have the slightest clue on how much work is it to maintain a SC or Turbo'd GS or any car for that matter. I have read in previous threads that this was some of the things you were concerned about?

Well guys I narrowed it down to

1) SRT Stage 2(would have went with stage 1 but no intercooler included)
2) LMS SC
3) Turboeast stage 1 (intercooler included)

What do you guys think? Anyone have anything good/bad to say about turboeast?

I've got nothing but respect for SRT and Turboeast, they are the heavy hitters on the IS 300, would be nice to see a GS with one of these kits....I'm waiting on Boost Logic

if the system is done right you can easily have more power than a gs430

Might as well since you are keeping the car.
