I am looking around for an supra lsd and came across this.lsd
Now , this will work for our cars being its for the automatic supra, right?Plus its $880 brand new.
That diff you linked to does not change the gearing. You will still be using the stock ring and pinion gears and just changing the carrier to clutch type LSD.
If you want the 3.76 gears, get the TT Supra/Torsen LSD. New about 1,400 or so. They can be found used, be careful to get the right one (many were NOT LSDs).
And yes, the PI torque converter will definitely "help"

yeah, what he said. to get to 3.76 you still need another new pumpkin to play with. that will end up even more money i guess

NO lights wiht the LSD, It doesnt confuse the traction control, in fact the traction control comes on less frequently. Couldnt say about the winter but my estimate is that it would have no real effect pro or con.

no lights at all. and in slippery condition, it helps in a sense that it will try to grip harder with the wheel with more traction, but if you put too much gas it's going to spin i suppose
