So I have a 2008 lexus is250 yesterday I drove the car perfectly fine no issues. Today while I’m on the way to work my car stops working. While driving all of a sudden the gas pedal stops accelerating when I press it, check vsc light comes on, no traction control light comes on, but no engine light comes on. After some time I got it off the road I was driving on and while pushing the car the steering wheel gets locked. I tried jump starting it but that didn’t work. I tried testing the alternator and battery using a scan tool but it doesn’t work bcs I can’t turn the engine on, it doesn’t even crank. The brake pedal is hard. The only things that turn on are the electrical inside (radio, charger, etc) and headlights. I unhooked the battery for about 20 minutes still nothing. I don’t know where to start because I’ve seen multiple videos on what it could be but they’re all different. Could it be the fuel pressure sensor? Battery? Alternator? Ecu? Any suggestions? Any help is appreciated
