This question has probably been asked numerous times but I can’t seem to find a thread for it, what exactly is needed for the swap? Also , what’s the best & easiest trans to swap in the SC?

What you need exactly is going to depend on which transmission you get. You'll definitely need a clutch pedal assembly and clutch master along with the hoses to the clutch. This can be the stock parts or aftermarket stuff.

The easiest swap is finding the w58 from a manual SC. The issue is the w58 doesn't hold big power, or even moderate power really, so you'll probably out grow it quickly. The next easiest is probably the r154 from a MkIII Supra. You'll need a 2jz bellhousing and there may be some shifter differences. The AR5 from the Solstice/Skye is also basically an r154 but you'll still need the 2jz bellhousing. Next is the CD009 from a 350Z. Some people don't like this transmission, you might want to go test drive a manual 350Z before buying one to see if you like it. For this you'll need an adapter plate to bolt the bellhousing to the 2jz. The T56 and its derivatives are probably top of the heap for power holding, you'll need a 2jz bellhousing for this one. Finally there is the v160, super strong but hard to find.

Once you pick your transmission you'll need a clutch appropriate for your power level and shifter linkage goodies. You also may need an aftermarket or custom transmission mount. Then you'll need either the accompanying yoke or flange on the driveshaft to connect to the transmission.

I'm sure there's something I've overlooked but this should give you an idea.
