Update: Ok Im now buying some parts for the swap! I was looking on ebay for a W58 Flywheel and Presure plate and I came across the brand LUK which is supposed to be oem. Luk also offers a presure plate and clutch kit on Amazon. I think I am going to go with this brand for my flywheel and presure plate what do you guys think? Because I am on a budget for this swap so this looks like it is the most cost effect way of doing it. I could go with a Exedy presure plate but I believe I need the clutch release bearing from the w58 for my Ar5 swap if anyoine knows please let me know it has been driving me crazy and I cant find anyone that mentions it.

LUK is a very reputable OEM supplier of flywheels for several manufacturers from Mercedes-Benz to BMW to in limited cases Toyota.

To the best of my knowledge the LUK OEM flywheels for Toyota are primarily dual-mass units for the Supra Turbo Getrag V160 and V161 and for the W55 transmission found in the IS300 M/T.

The OEM single-mass flywheels for the W58 are not (I think) LUK brand but probably Aisin/Toyota. But I may be wrong?

I have a Luk repset rs4 clutch kit in my Audi and it's buttery smooth for a clutch that holds decent power... but that could be cause of the PP design and dual mass flywheel.
I liked it so much I actually got a 92-96 camaro Luk repset clutch kit for for my t56 to small block chevy conversoin. That clutch feels good too, I haven't fully broken it in yet but so far no complaints.

Hi everyone just wanted to post a update on my swap, so far I have gotten all the parts like the pressure plate , flywheel etc I just haven't had much time lately. I just had a quick question about the clutch release bearing i cant seem to find anything about this anywhere but what bearing would I be using in this case? I have the AR5 tranny with the W58 Flywheel and Pressure plate with a chevy s10 clutch disc so would i be using a chevy s10 bearing or w58 bearing.

I'm pretty sure you will have to use the AR5 bearing as that is the only one that will bolt up to the AR5 fornt bearing retainer. You may have to buy/make shims to get the air gap correct.
