Car starts, then dies after water pump change(???)
 

Hey everyone,

Would anyone have an idea why my VVT-i 1jz would start for maybe 3 seconds, then die, after changing the water pump?
I had the upper turbo side intake thingy (stock engine) off, as well as the timing belt, and I'm almost certain I have the timing marks lined up properly.

I didn't take the lower timing gear off, so it's not the crank angle sensor as far as I know.

Any ideas?
