Here we are again in the darkest time of the year, and I'm reminded that my low-beam headlights don't do a great job of lighting up the road at night. I'm seeing TV ads for Sylvania replacement halogen bulbs. Does the group have a favorite brand replacement bulb that makes a noticeable difference in these first-generation SC low-beam headlights?

 

I would recommend going with a Kensun HID kit off Amazon. They are cheap (probably same or less than a pair of PIAA bulbs) and I have had good results with them on my other cars. Just try to stay in the 4300k-5500k spectrum range (4300k being best).

HID installs should be pretty much plug and play on the SC. Just have to find places to mount the ballasts (preferably a cool place).
