Default Soarer 1jz standalone options

Hey guys looking for some input here. I have a precision 6262 dbb setup that I'm hoping to make good power.
I have 550ccs (usdm MK4+7m resistor pack), safc2, HKS FCD, zeitronix wideband, avcr. Pretty much a budget setup that I've entertained installing.
At this point I'm ready to bypass it and go full standalone. Ive seen the driftmotion AEM ver2 for 1j, but I'm not a fan of running a Honda box+patch harness. In regards to a standalone can I run one for a USDM 2j Supra with a soarer patch harness from Dr. Tweak or any other recommended vendor?
The thing I'm being picky about is I want it to run like stock, good afr cruising, and no startup issues (all these would be dependent on tuner of course.) I'd like to see what everyone is running, and most importantly proof that it's a decent setup. Keep me posted!

Any particular reason why you don't like the hondabox by Driftmotion? Its seamless as long as you use high impedance injectors or a resistor box.
I have an AEM Infinity now but had the Driftmotion AEM v2 for years. Wonderful setup. No downsides.

Cold startup and idle is just dependent on how far you go with cams and the amount of time spent tuning cold startups across the span of a year.

For the money you spend for the honda box and patch harness and you will still be batch fire....Just get the Infinity 6 and never look back. It more than the BS honda box they sell.

awesome thanks for the reply! I'm seeing that it's only a couple hundred difference price wise, so this could be better decision on my end. Any more input is appreciated!

Infinity 6 is what i would do!! you will love it.

Getting all the pressure sensors and you are golden.

Maybe I'm the only one that likes the extra fuel you can run as a batch fire??
Never had a reason to convert to full sequential.
Keeps injector duty cycles lower than sequential. If you have cams, your idle quality is poor anyway.
Wheres the downside besides emissions?

Why run batch when i have an Ecu that can do seq?
Why use a Honda box when they already make on for a 2jz?
Why have the open a brand new box to remove a resistor or add a resistor? when you can buy a PNP unopen box and still have Warranty from AEM.
Why spend $1400 on an Old system when you can buy a newer system for the same amount if not cheaper??
Infinity is more flexible than the Honda box..
they are not even on the same league.

I think theres some confusion here.

The cost is not close at all. The extra wiring and sensors of the Infinity drive up the price ~50% in the end
You don't open the AEM. It's just a patch harness. You don't add a resistor inside the AEM. OP already has a resistor pack, You literally don't open it for any reason. It's sealed and has the SAME warranty.
Batch fire is what Toyota did from the factory for the 1JZ and that system is fine as far as I'm concerned.
It's not older. They're the same generation box between all the AEM v2s.
Infinity is a different topic. I was referring to the AEM v2 that DM sells for the 1jz which is what the OP had reservations about.

The Infinity is WAY newer than the V2 sure, but the V2 is far easier to install than the Infinity anyway and does 95% of what a basic single turbo/550cc/resistor setup can do on either one. If it wasn't for the easier tuning of the Infinity between mods I would have stuck to the V2. I still think the v2 is a easier setup for most guys since its literally plug and play if you know how to unbolt and remove your stock ECU. Most people bring their standalone to a tuner for tuning anyway.
