A Good (relatively well-priced) Harmonic Balancer for 2Js?
It finally happened, fortunately, it wasn't too violent and only need to replace the pulley and belt.
But, I'm not super pumped at the idea of spending $300+++ on a pulley, and after scouring past threads the main suggestions I'm getting are ATI and OEM which are each around $400.
I'm not looking to make power, I'm keeping her stock and taking her to 300K miles so I don't need anything too fancy.
Obviously, I'm not going with one of the $40 pulleys that are going to roll a rod in a month, so is there any happy medium between a $40 POS and a $400 OEM replacement? Not really sure about a used one since these fail due to age anyhow.
Any help is appreciated!

I got a oem one, along with an oil pump from a seller on eBay. I believe the balancer was $200 or something like that. The seller's name was "yam6". He's in the UK and ships for free, I received my order 2 days after I ordered. I was nervous at first cause of the price, but everything was legit and packaged in Toyota boxes with part numbers. If you're going for a long trouble-free live, nothing beats a Toyota OEM pulley. That last roughly 15-20 years with no issues.
The Fluidampner is 2nd with a lifespan listed at around 11 years.
The ATI and the variants of it (Boostlogic, Titan V1 & V2) say they last about 8 years
The aftermarket oem replacements you find thru autoparts stores are cheaper but only are guaranteed to last 1-2 years based on the purchase warranty.
Best case scenario, one thru an auto parts store should last about 5-6 years just because they are not made to strict OEM Toyota guidelines.
Some of the generics you find on ebay are a toss-up.
There's been at least one member who posted in SC3/400 Mods within the last 2 months that his "new" aftermarket balancer he got off of ebay fell apart within 2 months of getting it.

For casual driving, I recommend just buying a new aftermarket OEM replacement one via an auto parts store such as Advance, Autozone, Murrays or Pepboys. That way you get the cheapest price, 5+ years of lifespan and a warranty if it falls apart within 2 years
