Default Rough cold start and hesitation.

I just bought a 1993 sc400 and my first hurdle was diagnosing and replacing a bad ecu. After those problems were gone! The car runs fine on most days. Every morning when I start the car it needs gas to hold the idle until it warms up, if I dont give it gas it dies. I'd like to solve that issue but on some days, like this morning, the car had an especially rough start and pretty bad hesitation. I had just replaced the maf sensor due to a code 31 and it hasnt stopped showing the code.

My car also is showing a code 71, EGR system malfunction, but I dont think that has been effecting it at all.

Update: So I solved this problem by cleaning my IAC valve (idle air control). The car starts up fine everytime although beware that when you cleam your IAC and your car idles super higher than before then adjust your TPS! I had to max mine out clockwise and my car still idles at 1k rpm in park. Someone let me know if this is normal. Thanks.
